‘Shaping the future food systems together’ is the central theme of the Foodvalley Summits 2020: an interactive, live-broadcast event, covering the latest market trends, innovations, opportunities and challenges in the fields of the Protein Shift, Food & Health and Circular Agrifood. The Foodvalley Summits, organized for entrepreneurs, researchers, policy makers and many other agrifood experts around the world. The Protein Shift and Food & Health Summits took place on October 13, the Circular Agrifood Summits on November 26, 2020.

Foodvalley Summits partners

The Foodvalley Summits 2020 were organized by Foodvalley NL, in close cooperation with the New Zealand-based food and innovation hub FoodHQ, the Good Food Institute (India), Enterprise Singapore, and – from the Netherlands – OnePlanet Research Center and Samen tegen Voedselverspilling (Together Against Food Waste).

Foodvalley Champions award

This two-year prize, the successor to the prestigious Foodvalley award, was handed out to the three most innovative companies in the fields of the Protein Shift, Food & Health and Circular Agrifood. Participants are evaluated on (1) the innovative character of the company and (2) the impact and innovative character of (their) recent innovation(s). The prize includes a promotional video showcasing the winner’s innovation, international profiling by Foodvalley NL and a one-year Foodvalley Membership.
